We went out on Sunday and had some fun running with Rob and his Sacred Ground Apache. What a beautiful boat! There was another Cig around when we were going in the water at the marina, but we could not find them once we got out on the water. The seas were a lite bumpy so they may have been heading for home. I believe the transom said they were from Jersey, so they had a little bit of a run ahead of them. Of course Rob claims they split out of fear of the Apache! :p

Here are a few pics of his boat coming off of the fork lift.

This is a true friend!! He is pumping gas into the Apache, but notice the hat he is wearing. He owns a beautiful Tiger, but it was at home on Sunday.

No matter how many times you see this, it always puts a little knot in your stomach while your boat is in the air.

When we owned our 31' we had it stored inside for 8 years and saw this a lot. You are so right that you always get a pit in your stomach.

I can't imagine watching the 41' being put on a lift and carried into the water. Love our lift!

Thanks for the pics Hot Duck. How are you enjoying the new ride?

The 41 isn't bad, but our 45 looked like it was going to fall forward at any second. It always drew a crowd when they moved it. The boat was very sturdy because all of the weight was in the back, but it just didn't look right on the fork lift.

So far so good. The thing I like the best is that the Cig drinks a lot less fuel. It is only 6 feet shorter than or Apache was, but it seems so little. I like it overall though. The family is happy and so am I, so it's a win win situation for us.
