Congrats to Lars Nilsen, Trond, Nils, Tarry, and all the guys at Nor-Tech for setting the new Norwegian offshore speed record of 306kmt /191.25mph at the Class-one races in Arendale Norway last weekend.
Everyone at Turbine Marine Inc. is proud to have been a part of this project, and had the opportunety to be the engine supplier for this awesome 47' Nor-Tech Super Cat. As everyone knows, Nor-Tech builds some of the safest and fastes boats in the world. And this if proof again. John Arruda Turbine Marine Inc |
Congrats!! :D That's a big number. What speeds have you seen with it besides the kilo average number? Got any anymore pics of the insides, and some vid by chance?

Congrats! This proves that Nortech does indeed build some of the fastest boats around. In fact, I think there is another Nortech that will be posting an even bigger number soon!

Sad how threads about reggie doing a bunch of BS get tons of attention, but when someone actually does something cool, like the folks at Nor-Tech and Turbine Marine, it seems as though no one hardly even notices it. 191mph is hauling the mail, and I would be curious to see what the actual acheived top speed has been. 200+? 191 is only the average......
