Major accident with Nor-tech 36 Supercat in Norway
Important, all 5 parties in boat are ok. Minor bruises, cuts etc

Did anyone notice the Speed Racer boat in the Video? Looks like a 40' 6 Seater. Isn't Speedy a 44' 5 seater now and resides in Jersey?

Politiet fikk melding om ulykken ved 15-tiden. Øyenvitner forteller at båten skulle hoppe i bølgene etter Redningsskøyta, da den gikk rundt i de høye bølgene. - Båten kjørte i stor fart og snurret rundt slik at den landet med kjølen opp, forteller operasjonsleder Bjarne Bakken i Agder politidistrikt. Dette skjedde i Tromøysund rett før klokken 15.00 tirsdag. Det var 5 personer ombord i båten, som alle falt i vannet. Det var dermed kort vei for Redningsskøyta da de skulle berge de skipbrudne. Etter det Agderposten erfarer skal de fem i båten har fått bruddskader, kuttskader og lettere hodeskader. Alle fem er kjørt til sykehuset i Arendal. |
