Selling a Boat
I listed my boat on a few internet sites for sale(including oso) and it did not sell. Should I give up now until next spring or run some more ads???

For some reason some people think that July 4th is a magic date. If your boat is not sold by then you will have it over the winter.(They must not live or boat down south where we can boat almost 12 months a year). If your willing to give your boat away you can advertise it again. The market sucks right now for selling a boat at a reasonable price and if you price yours at what it's worth you will probably get no calls. I'd say wait till next spring but I'm not sure it will be any better. It's almost like take your lumps now or take them later. IMO

There's an azz for every seat. It just takes that one call to sell a boat. I have bought and sold most of my boats after the 4th of July and I live in Michigan. The market does suck right now but the beating you take on your boat will most likely be passed on when purchasing your next boat in the form of a good deal. Good Luck

Thanks for the replies. I may keep right on trying then instead of waiting till spring to start again. I have heard from some boat dealers if they dont sell by July 4, your odds of selling go way down, that is why I ask...
