Default Mobil 1 oil

I hear that Mobil 1 V-twin is the best oil to use for marine use... the trouble is I'm in the Bahamas and can't find it! We have Mobil 1 full sysnthitic locally. Is this the same as V-Twin , or will it say V-Twin on the bottle??

Its not the same. The V twin was primarily designed for motorcycles. I run the regular Mobil 1 in my engines. It is a very good oil.

Vtwin has the good additives that they don't put in reg automotive oil.

I use Mobil1 15W-50 in my engines. Can you find that in the Bahamas?

Out of curiosity, where are you in the Bahamas?

V-twin has a much higher zinc content than regular M1.

Just order a few cases online and you're set.

Valvoline racing in the silver bottle has the same additives.

It is not for on- road use due to emissions. See if they have that over there. Good stuff.
