Kirt
I have shipped lots of trs outdrives and more recently, two pallets with Speedy 3A drives & gimbals via Delta Air Cargo.
It cost less than Roadway and Yellow Freight.
Call Delta at an airport near you for cargo information.
To send a trs in a merc box from FL to NYC (next day) cost about $160. & they weigh ALOT more.
Good luck!

We have used Airborne Express for TeleComm equipment. You can give them a try:

you can ship it Greyhound.Probably cost around 50 bucks and your recipient goes to his closest Greyhound terminal and picks it up. As long as the drivers can handle it, they'll take it on the passenger buses.b

Have someone send it from their work. The drivers don't check the size unless is REALLY oversized. Good Luck:)
