Looking for info on Seebold hull

Hey guys I'm not a big poster here but I am always reading. I have the opportunity to purchace a 26' single engine Seebold Eagle hull but can only find very limited information on it. Can anyone help? It has some bottom issues and I am trying to decide if it is worth repairing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

I saw a blue Seebold 265 this weekend in LOTO. Don't know much about the bottoms but that was a VERY cool boat.

The bottoms are different its kind of a mod, v tunnel with a platform back with two small steps. It hadles great on smooth to slightly choppy water but when chop gets big it gets hairy. mine runs around 80

Is this a deck boat or a vee?

The Seebold Eagle (pleasure boat) molds were bought by Emerald Boats, who then retooled many of the models. But by looking at the Emerald models, you might be able to get some idea on what kind of hull design you're getting.

Do either of these look anything like yours?

I used to have a 24, I think it was before 1995 the seebold family still made them, you might be able to contact them.....I think Emerald boats bought their molds.

Again I think. The bottom on mine was a shallow v with a pad. But with a single engine it would scoot!

Where are you located? I know where there is a really clean 1990 26'. It hasa newer 454 and what looked to be CMI e-top headers but were black. it is priced right too! I looked at last year when I downsized, but steered away from it because of the hard resale than some other brands. Seebolds are solid boats and are quick for the power but are not exactly wave crushers.

Yeah it looks to have a pad and a notched transome. The center pad has been repaired and the repair has failed. Its a cool looking boat and I like stuff you dont see every day. WHat kind of chop r we talking about that it hairy in?

It's a V but looks to be shallow. Conflicting info on whether its 25' or 26'. The deal is good but if its going to ride bad I may pass on it anyway.

Years ago our old snap on dealer was trying to sell me a late 80's seebold it was a eagle I think,26 ft vee. The bottom had delaminated or something to where it literaly fell apart but the company was supossed to have fixed it,I RAN from that deal,if one fell apart It might be a common problem ,Smitty
