Friday, September 5th, 2008
12:00 noon
Dry Pits open Siler Lake Parking Lot at Arnold Avenue between Boston and Baltimore Aves, and the Point Pleasant Beach Train Station Route 35 North.

12:00 noon-3:00 pm Registration for Race boats opens (registration will be in the small office trailer set up at the Amethyst Beach Motel Parking lot across from the dry pits)

6:00 pm
Parade staging of Race Boats, Silver Lake Parking Lot pit area

7:00pm
Start of Parade: route; east on Arnold Avenue, north on Ocean Avenue, west on Broadway, south on Baltimore and west on Arnold to Route 88, turn left on route 88and head back to the pit area (Have lots of candy)

9:00 pm
Racers party at the White Sands Hotel, 1205 Ocean Ave, You must have a wristband to get into the party, so register early.

Saturday, September 6th, 2008
9:00 am
Drivers meeting at Miss GEICO/AMF trailer in the dry pits

11:00 am-3:00 pm Registration for racers will be in the small office set up at the Amethyst Beach Motel Parking lot across from the dry pits

10:00 am-4:00 pm
Race Boats on display (Silver Lake Parking Lot and Point Pleasant Beach Train Station)

12:00noon 1:30pm
Fashion Show for the ladies of offshore:
Treasure House, 715 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach

2:00 pm-4:00 pm
Race Boat Testing in the Atlantic Ocean

7:00 pm-9:00 pm
PRE RACE PARTY at Jenkinson’s Pavilion. 300 Ocean Ave Point Pleasant Beach (Admittance by ticket only, race teams required to wear uniforms)

Sunday, September 7th, 2008
7:30 am-8: 30 am
Drivers Physicals at Jenkinson’s Pavilion, 300 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, parking in the gravel lot across the street

8:00am - 5:00pm
Crane at Wet Pit Area, Manasquan River Club, 217 Riverside Dr, Brick, NJ

9:00 am
Drivers Meeting at Jenkinson’s Pavilion, 300 Ocean Ave, Point Pleasant Beach, parking in the gravel lot across the street

10:00 am
Race Boats and Teams on display at the Patio Bar at the Wharfside, Channel Dr, Point Pleasant Beach.

11:00am
All Race Boats depart the Wet Pit Area by escort through the inlet and out to the ocean for the race

12:00noon
Start of the 2008 Miss Geico Triple Crown Offshore Grand Prix, in front of Jenkinson’s Pavilion, 300Ocean Ave

2:00pm
Start of Race 2: Miss GEICO Triple Crown Offshore Grand Prix

Conclusion of the race
The Winners will show up at the Patio Bar at the Wharfside, Channel Drive, Point Pleasant Beach, to show off their winning first place checkered flags and grant interviews.

7:00 pm-?
Awards ceremony for racers. Trophies will be distributed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in all classes of the Miss GEICO Triple Crown Offshore Grand Prix. This will take place at the Wharfside, Channel Dr, Point Pleasant Beach.

no reason it shouldnt be run on sunday based on that forecast....saturdays goin to be a party day i guess...not to much testing gonna happen based on that report
