Default Vegas - Lake Havasu This weekend!?!

Vegas 5th-7th

Trying to get a game plan put together and thought I would throw this out on the forums to see if any one has any suggestions.

This is my first trip out to Vegas and I’m trying to figure out what are the “Must Do’s” on a short weekend.

Shows??

Casinos??

Maybe… Take off early Saturday morning and check out Havasu??

It’s going to be a short weekend but looking forward to it!

what do you like?? bars, night clubs? casinos? check out the new Palazzo they have a cool Lambo dealer at bottom floor next to JayZ's 40/40 club. rides go to Sahara and ride speed, it is a cool ride along with the rides on top of Stratosphere, also top of the world is great food at a fair price, you are 890 feet up and the floor turns real slow so you see everything. Casinos MGM is about the largest one, night clubs try LAX at the Luxor, also studio54 at mgm is nice. Red Rock is a drive its on west Charleston at the west end of town near the red rock mountains.

Jay Z's 40/40 Club didn't fly and is done. Tryst at Wynn is super hot. Also Moon at The Palms is also a hot spot. Yardhouse and Blue Martini in Town Square at the southern extent of the strip are also happening. Pure is at Ceasars Palace, and VooDoo Lounge is at the top of Rio. The pool at Mandalay bay is neat place for daytime ($15), and of course Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel on Sunday 12N-6P is off the hook ($50).

If you have a motorcycle endorsement, rent a Road Glide from Henderson Harley-Davidson and take a drive by Lake Mead and over Hoover Dam. Havasu is about 2.5 hour drive from Vegas.

I am working nights all weekend so I can't give you the tour, but if you find yourself in need of medical attention, UMC is were to be. Will be up by mid-afternoon Sunday if you are still around.

CMR - see ya there! Buddy's bachelor party this weekend...

Plan for us goes a little something like this:

Thursday night fly-in, chill at Carnival Court.

Friday - Poolside Flamingo

Friday Night - Tryst (no cover), LAX (new), or Tao (college hook-up).

Saturday - Poolside Flamingo

Saturday Night - rest of the crew gets in from Scottsdale. CRAZY HORSE then whatever other strip clubs we end up @. Then one of the clubs not done Friday.

Sunday - Poolside at Tao (if Rehab @ Hard Rock is done), watch NFL and place bets.

Sunday eve collect winnings and fly home @ 10pm...landing in Detroit @ 5am!!!

Shoot me a PM if you are doing the Havasu thing. Never been and was interested in checking it out.

We were considering the phantom / opera. I checked out the Tillerman website looks like a good place for dinner.

Couple other shows we were considering:
Bite @ Stratosphere

Fantasy @ Luxor

Casino - Defiantly

Clubs - depends on the night.

Bars- Yes.

It kind of depends on what the guys want to do. I fly in tomorrow. Father fly’s in later in the day. My buddy fly’s in Saturday morning.

Thanks for the info. I hope I won't be needing the medical treatment, but it would be great to meet some other OSO. We will be around Sunday the seminar is over around 7ish (I think) so we will be out and about after that. Give me a call.

Sounds like you got a hell of a plan.

That way its coming together looks like we won't have time to make to Hazasu this trip. We do have a rental car and might run down to the Hoover Dam Saturday.

I have to re-up the membership but give me a call I will have a couple hours to burn tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks again for everyone’s input. Looking forward to this weekend!

You have to check out Havasu if you've never been. Last weekend was crazy. It's a little over 2 hrs from vegas. You can go to The Turtle (a bar that overlooks the lake), check out the channel (where everyone hangs out on there boats under the London Bridge). If you come to Havasu feel free to pm or call the number below and I can fill you in on other fun things to do in Havi.

*Have a safe weekend, what ever you decide to do.

If you want a treal taste of chaos and a first class ticket to hell someday, join So FL OSO (and friends) for Cash Bars birthday Sept 19 & 20th. The guest list will make you scared.

As far as clubs. JET. Period. Makes the chicks in Ft. Lauderdale and SoBe look like valet park girls (ask Steve LOL). If you would like the VIP'st of VIP treatment in Vegas, join us at Blue Martini when we go

Havasu was fun once.

An entertaining show to see as an alternative for opera or serious theater is the Blue Man Group at the Venetian. It's a pretty decent combo of music, humor, and the most bizarre set up of percussion instruments.

The drive over to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead is nice. For about $75 you can rent a 20' runabout and take a quick cruise through the canyons into the lake.
