Isn't it taking place inside the bay? If so, I would hope they wouldn't pull the plug based on water conditions! Now if they cancelled it due to heavy rain (fans dont like this for some reason) or for lack of permits, etc, I could see it... but water conditions inside that little bay??? Boy I sure hope not given it's an 'offshore' race!

Anyone going to that race is nuts. They're talking about a category 3 hitting by Sunday morning. I wouldn't want my boat sitting out in a parking lot with 115mph winds. Regardless, I can't see an actual race happening.... the bay is pretty rough on a normal day, I couldn't imagine what its going to be like with a hurricane approaching! Here is a picture I took from my house two years ago during a tropical storm.
