Default What transmissions for 1075s?

Hi everybody!

What kind of transmission is a good choise for a 1075 with No6 outdrive on a V-bottom? What is really the practical difference from brand to bran? Any experiences?

THANX!!

ok, what is important on a transmission? I have never had a boat with separate transmissions. Are there any particular issues you have? Like access to oil level checks, leaks, shifting problems etc etc............ Are there any special information you would make me aware of, if you know what I mean???

:-)

You'd be hard pressed to find a better transmission than a Bam Super Cyborg.

Marc has these babies DIALED-IN! Plus, you have BAM Marine on your side if you have any questions!

Transmissions add weight, but for big HP applic. they are the only way to go. BAM/Huber 1550 ! Or if u-want to deal w/it scs crash boxes.

go with the bam,.. their deep sump is bigger than hubers deep sump, making it harder for the bams to loose pressure, and if they do, they recover quicker from it.
