well after a week and a half off. i got started back up tonite. amanda (one of my 13 yr olds) and i went down to the shop for a short while. we took the hatch off. the trim pump, steering and trim cylinders off. not much but she got to use the cordless snapon impact. and i got the extra hands that i needed. to go forward now. i know, i know pictures. i well try to get some this weekend.

finally got some time in the shop again. last night i got the floors and foam out of the blige. a little worse then i was thinking they would be. port stringer is shot starboard is not to bad. but they are both going. looks like the deck needs to come off to get at the rest of the floor and stringers, which i was hopeing would not be the case.

head way. got back down to the shop tonite. got a little done. started with the rubrail and deck to hull screws. fuel fill and vent hoses, sending unit wires. down the carpet back to get at the bulkhead from the front. next up cut the seat and bulkhead free. that is going to suck. may not seem like much. but with two girls, sheri and way to many soccer games, i'm getting there.

baron,
Keep up the good work; kinda sounds like a project that I did on an old 202 Formula. Took the deck off, brought the windshield(turned into a windscreen) back about 2 feet, put a 3 man bolster where the rear bench was. We re-did some structural components, rebuilt the transom (converted OMC to a Mercruiser Alpha). Put in all VDO gauges, zero-effort controls and Gill equipped the small block. It was bullet-proof and fast (for the day). I wish I had some pix. Anyway keep us posted. Good luck - Jeff
