Default Taylor Performance 5.0L upgrade in a 26' Revolution Performance Marine

Got back from Newbury Park Califonia, and Lake Havasu...Gary Taylor swapped my 200ax SC for a new 5.0L went from making around 900hp to 1100hp with race gas and a quick program change it can easly hit the 1400hp range Gary did an amazing job we headed out to Havasu last week for testing and tunning.* Boat ran 120 in 110deg heat and a very high humid conditions with 3 adults spare prop icechest full of drinks and Garys tools and computer...very pleased.* Also a big thanks to Steve and the guys @ RPM they did a awsome job swapping out scoops and mods to the new TPI scoop, again TPI and RPM were both chosen for there awsome personal customer service, its not about the money its about the customer, you want it they will do it or get it done...no matter what.* VERY SPECIAL THANKS

Jeff

Man, I love that boat.

I can't wait to see what it can do when you get it completely dialed in.

Not at this time, but if you ask anyone that has seen RPM's boats they all think it's 28-29' boat, they really used the space every advantage, you have a engine compartment that you could sleep in the most usable cabin of any 26'-30' in the industrie and plenty of room for driver and 5 pasengers

It started out as a tpi 540cu 848 w/MOAC intercooler ended up a 540cu 1100hp but can be put into the 1400hp range with fuel and the quick stroke of a laptop, if you want the badest engines with the best customer service give Gary a call, you will get far better service that that other guy http://www.tpboats.com/home.html

and if you want one bad ass boat call Steve @ Revolution Performance Marine 205-672-8763 you will not be disapointed; fit, finish, and price hands down above anyother short cat builder, put it this way I know a guy that wants one that his last boat was a DCB go figure

Quite impressive.

How much does insurance on that rig cost per year?

My little 20.8 tunnel runs about 100 and I cant imagine how killer a ride that is.

Glad to hear a happy story after reading the beware section-

GT has a great rep in so cal.

Lets just say more than the wife thinks, and yes Gary is amazing...beware anyone who wants a custom motor done, do your homework, even though I live in the south I was not afraid to venture out DO YOUR HOMEWORKbecause if I was some of you guys on the beware form I have friends, and I would not stand for very much of that chit, put it this way when I had some of my affiliates finish with him I would be more wealthy or his clients would be satisfied. Like I say if you let it happen to you, you deserved it, it;s how you handle your fuk up that makes your bones
