I have talked to Kurt with the catastrophic boat many times, I baught the old 2.5's that he had on it to put on mine. he is amazing with the technical setting up of a cat. he figures :t(86)*4Y+74G%<-94/X then says, raise the motors 2.7 inches.. as soon as I get mine back from eagleone in FL I am taking it straight up to him so I can get mine to run faster than 47mph I hear a roumor that his boat might be for sale. it is a SWEET boat

I have been a member of the APBA 100 MPH club since 1976, like Strike it was in a hydro. A 20' Sooy 7-litre, did 138.9 at New Martinsville, WV. My present 26' AO runs @108.

Just trying to go faster. Currently 31 Awesome Thundercat w/ merc 600SC @ 11-12 lbs boost 117 on gps. ran out of room and good fuel so I gotta wait on the chillers and extention boxes to tweak the last few mph out. By the way anybody know of ext boxes around? appreciate any help.

Troutly, as I said in an earlier post, my boss swears by his +100mph STV w/2.5 Merc. He's been trying to get me to ride with him for 7 years. In all that time he's never had any problems. Merc 2.5 must be a heck of a motor.

Hey Ryan here's the picture from the St Clair river race brouchure with the Redline in race trim with the 93 national championship in thier sponsorship ad. This is where I got my info, like I said I never followed racing till a few years ago.

Huh?
I knew they never won the worlds. The national championship must have been in the Old US offshore. Still a very cool boat. Some friends of mine had a 28 Redline with small blocks in it.
