arneson or #6 drives, big herring props, or you could buy a cat.

you can also try extention boxes

I was just going to post the shortened version of that.....starts at 1:41. Not only is the roost of that boat (RIP) unreal, but the sound as it goes by would make your heart skip.

Saw a Fountain at Lake Cumberland Poker Run that had what appeared to be stainless "tubes" mounted through the lower units of his outdrives. I only guessed it was for Rooster Tail effect. Can't remember if it was staggered or what drives, but it was the best looking red, black, and silver Fountain I've seen!

I think that the opinions so far are correct. Go to surface drives, use #3, 5 or 6 drives or stagger the engines. Here is the tail from our 39 Top Gun. It throws this tail regardless of trim. Not bad for Bravos!

You could try the shortened Konrads. Would raise your prop shaft height by about 3.5" if I remember correctly

My guess is those would have been airation tubes to break the props loose for planing, not shootin roosters.

PS, I find a simple little 22cal sufficient for shootin most roosters
