To be honest, Im not sure what they are. I just started researching them, so I dont know much about them yet. A buddy and I were sitting around one night drinking and we got the idea to try and build a turbine powered sand rail Dont all great ideas come during a night of drinking?

Yes they do! .. I designed my Entertainment Complex while tuned up on some good Bourbon. That was a lot of nights of planning.

Turbine Sand rail sounds like Hella Fun. Would you have to worry about Sand in the Intake though? I'm not sure what kind of filter would work for that but, I think it would have to be a pretty good one and still allow it to breath.
