I watched the video again. If you watch the NorTech truck pulling away, it still didn't appear to have straps on the back.

Great they put it on a Seahawk trailer. One of my favorite brands of trailers right after BoatMaster, Rocket, and a few others that are top of the line. Had two (2) of them and got rid of both of them

that sux,I feel sorry for the guy,

the trailer when it lost its toung probably dug into the ground/dirt and sudden stop. I would bet the straps would of snapped anyway? or eyelet pulled out
