You guys are GOOD!
1) "Inferno", A 30' Sutphen. The first Sutphen Raceboat, currently being raced as Spystuff for You. Soon to be owned and raced by OSO members Bodyshot, aka Marty and Vinman.
2) "Contagious",This 24 Superboat gave people the most trouble identifying. This little boat gave "Great Adventure" a run for his money. This boat later became the first "Boardwalk" and raced in the defunct "V" class.
3)"Streaker" Preston Henn's 38' Bertram
4) "Blonde" was a 36' Cigarette, had gernades for engines, won a few races when he (Roger Hanks) didn't blow up the engines. Blonde is famous for spearring a 45 Hattaras. The Hattaras was totaled, the Cigarette continued to race future races.
5) "Harry O" a blue 32 Cobra
6) "Cocktails" a burgandy 30 Corsa
7) "Crazy Greek" a Toms River NJ Favorite, 27 Signature and then a 32 Cobra.
8)"Pure Insanity" a yellow 29 Scarab out of California driven by Jeff Brown
9)"Lil Smidgen" a 27 Magnum which then became several other race boats
10)"La Tortuga" this 44' MSV (Miller, Saccenti, Varese) was the worlds largest offshore racer. Finishing last in the first Benihanna Grand Prix, but was awarded first place due to all other boats being disqualified.
Ron P,
It was Joel Halpern's "Beep Beep" cat which was involved in the fatal accident.
Another 10 next Friday!

Very good Bob. This would be a great Friday installment of OSO. I have a ton of old race photos in the attic that I need to dig out.
Next time, try to include some photos. Let me know if you need help scaning or putting them up on the web.

Good idea Ron, I have photos of all 10 that I've listed here. I'm not computer literate and don't have a scanner. If you could scan them that would be great. I've got enough photos to last quite a while. There is definately interest in these classics! Give me a call or E-mail me.
Thanks,
BOB G.
