31 Cape Horn "Lit-Up" CC Stolen - Jacksonville
Posted this under the "Stolen" forum as well.
I am posting this for a friend of mine in Jacksonville. His 2008 31 Cape Horn was stolen last night. Boat, motors and trailer.
Here is his description from the "Hull Truth" - It's a 2008 31 Cape Horn w/twin Yamaha 250. The boats is white with 'Lit-up" on the side. There are a pair of white wake board power speakers under the top.
If anyone sees this boat or has any information on its whereabouts, please contact me at [email protected] or contact my friend Tim at [email protected].
note that the truck in the picture is his - not that of the thiefs!
Thanks,

Boat was found today a few miles from the storage yard. The thieves towed the boat with a stolen truck and ditched the truck after they got what they wanted (motors, electronics, etc.). Truck had Lojack.
They also stole a newer 38 Fountain with triple Verados. Both boats were stripped of electronics, motors, controls and rigging. Boats themselves were not damaged.
Apparently a well planned job. The investigating officer told my friend that the only good theft deterrant in his opinion was outboard and/or sterndrive "locks" - i.e. the kind that replace the retaining nuts.

Third world lowlifes pay good money for high horse power outboards and don't care if they are a little warm. What do you call an Iranian with a fast boat? "Shrapnel"
