Good point never tought of bringing the AR-15 with laser sight. But I guess one long gun is enough I don't want to put a safe on the rig!

I wonder if you start shooting buckshots at a couple 100 yards how fast they will still keep coming compared to a rifle!

One of the four 870's and some of the other hardware....

I usually like to have L.W. Commander in my duffle bag with with some magazines of federals 230 gr.Hydra shoks.
I don't want to get boat jacked if I break down in the Detroit River going to Put-In-Bay.

How common is it to have boat-based crimes, of the kind that you would benefit from having a weapon? I would expect that in the ocean, but is it common in the Great Lakes or other inland lakes also?

How common? It only takes once, if you're the one that it happens to Think of it like a bilge pump, you don't give it much thought until you need it and it's too late.

Red face

I carry a SLING SHOT in my back pocket everywhere it comes in handy around the house when my teen acts up or the dogs chase the cat. my wife said I am to dangerous to myself to carry anything, so not even a sling shot I made that up. a gun would back fire and blow up in my face. artie
