Reed, When were you in Italy? We were there sept 19th to the 27th. We went to Rome. Thats crazy!!

I was there Sept 27th to Oct 13th. I was in Rome about the 8th and 9th of October. Yeah... it is crazy. The place is overrun with scooters! Spent a lot of time in Umbria, and the surrounding areas. I started to feel like a Japanese tourist after a week. One day Lake Garda... *click-click*... Two day Venice... *click-click* .... Ferrari factory.... *click-click*... Spoleto... two day.... *click-click*... Siena and Florence... two day... *click-click*.... Rome .. two day... *click-click*..... Chinque terra.... two day... *click-click*... One day Milan... *click-click*.. Fly home and have another vacation to recover from the traveling. I went with two friends that insisted on keeping this hectic schedule. We drove all over Italy. The only time we took a train was from Maestra into Venice and back. The rest of the time we were speeding on the Autostrada like maniacs. I miss the Autogrills!
