In fact here's a real nice 30 with 496s that was in Powerboat. Not sure if your buddy is looking for an open bow though.

I have a very nice 29' Shockwave that runs in the 80's without breaking a sweat with twin Raylar 600's that is technically "not" for sale, but as the saying goes, everything is for sale for the right price...

Eliminator Eagle? I have an 06 that runs low 80's with twin ho's. Runs and handles good. Not to bad in rough water either for a small boat. Been to catalina 4 times averaged about half hour if I go early in the morning.

I would definitely recommend checking out the Adrenaline v30. Heres some pictures of the twin that is at Unique Performance West in CA.

All great boats..the west coast has got the 30' and under figured out for the most part. My favorite though..... is the Adrenaline's. Georgeous lines, excellent fit and finish, excellent proven bottom design that runs real well in the rough water. Dont know anything about the co other than they have done some very cool projects. Do you're homework, at least check them out. Jeff
