Lifted the motor 1-1/2" today, making it 3" below the pad now, gonna test it tomorrow.

Didnt like it, got squirrely as soon as I started to trim(but it was windy today), I dropped it back down 3/4" by the jackplate to split the diff.

Rick,
Setback will be the key...an 18 inch bracket and you will be rockin' plus we need to either get that 3 man bolster in a stand up setting or find you some stand up bolsters.

I have the bases in the garage to make it standup, but I will do the transom and bracket first, for now, it runs good at 50-55 with the low motor, and will run 60 loosened up, just in case I need to pass somebody, better to run slow and safe, than get carried away

Back from KW. Had a great time. Geico and Scotty blow the doors of every one! But. JBS new turbine will be a team to reckon with next year!

Cool, wish I could have made it down, maybe next year the $$ will be there for me to enjoy racing a little more. Did ya get to see our buddy Scotty??
