Fun Run to Elliott Key Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 29

Last weekend we had 4 boats run down to Elliot Key, and had a blast, even though we got a late start due to weather. We plan on doing it again Saturday Nov. 29. We will depart from somewhere in South Miami(probably Crandon Park) around 10 AM, and run to Boca Chita for a picnic style lunch(everybody brings something), then off to raft up off Elliott for some fun. The more boats the better, The boats we run go anywhere from 50 - 95 MPH, so no need to have a rocketship, or if you do we have one that can run with you, all are welcome. Rain date will be Sunday November 30.

This next part I just have to say to cover my A$$ since I am posting this...........

As this is just a bunch of friends meeting up, I Take no responsibility should anything happen to any boat or passengers of any boat affiliated with this post, you are on your own out there, but we do look forward to seeing you.

Ok I'm in and I will bring a box of (Churasco) Skirt Steaks !!

If the weather is nice and cool, I will leave Friday late afternoon and camp out on Boca Chica to get a nice spot and BBQ.

Thats not a bad idea, do they allow camping there?? I wont be back in town until friday afternoon though.

That looks like a good spot, bet it is packed during the summer though. Wouldnt be a bad idea to camp there Saturday night, and run back on Sunday.

I'm currently "full" but let's see who else joins the run.
