do the right thing your reputation is well worth $14k+, well now you prob dont have enough $$ to restore your reputation...
And to claim your contract was fair and well written...oh goodness.
We build loft apts in the city of Philadelphia, take many deposits. At times some lofts cant be finished in time and people want thier $$ back. They know full well they have signed a non-refundable deposit contract HOWEVER out of the 5 clients whom wanted thier deposit of 10k -50k- 100+++k returned WE GAVE IT BACK...! ITS not worth the bad press to stick someone. NOT on crash boxes, boats or houses. not solely about a contract well drafted, or timelines, now it has to do with all, plus being a good man...
PRO Stock you needed to have assistance, should have gone to look at the boat be more on your game as well. this is a huge learning curve that cost some $$
if you need help in your next purchase or want to grab lunch in NJ mail id be happy to listen!

Ldd just give the kid back the $14,000. I could understand if you kept the intial $2,000 deposit.

How can you live with yourself ripping off someone else's inheritance?

Don't you have any character?

I'm amazed your not banned from this site.

Arrogant bastard!

I bet a little background check in these states would turn up some more good reading.
Yeah...that say's alot right there. Con's usually do not stay in one place very long. I would imagine it would suck looking over your shoulder every minute of the day.

How to be a con man
I could read about con men and tricksters all day.
"I could sell **** at an anti-scat party," he says, "you have to figure out someone's wants and needs and convince them what you have will fill their emotional void." A con man is essentially a salesman -- a remarkably good one -- who excels at making people feel special and understood. A con man validates the victim's desire to believe he has an edge on other people.
It requires avid study of psychology and body language. It's an amazing paradox--a con man has incredible emotional insight, but without the burden of compassion. He must take an intense interest in other people, complete strangers, and work to understand them, yet remain detached and uninvested. That the plan is to cheat these people and ultimately confirm many of their fears cannot be of concern.

Noun: con man (con men) kón man
A swindler who exploits the confidence of his victim
- confidence man, con artist

this may have been said before, but did LDD call PS on the 12th or 13th demanding payment? He mentions that PS never called him but if he had a an impending deadline on a contract wouldnt you call the other party? fact is, he knew what he was going to do and wanted to let the date pass.
