Very sad situation going on here. If the boat was worth the money in the first place the nominal deposit of 2k would have been reasonable to forefit to remove it from the market for a month, however this guy knows he is offloading a turd and knocking it out of the park and hosing this guy at 26500. It was probably only worth half of that in the first place.

Send a brief to www.peoplescourt.com. how they think it should be settled. I'd love to see how LDD explains keeping not only the 2K deposit but a partial payment on the boat....

It really doesn't matter how much he ended up selling the boat that was his choice to do a "fire sale" and shouldn't have any bearing on the this transaction...
