Default More Merc News

I was just informed that Mercury Marine will have a plant wide shut down for two weeks after today for all - including mgmt without pay....also the last two weeks of Dec.

I believe the source to be credible.

That is true. But it's not 2 weeks. it starts Monday 11/17 and runs until Jan 2!

Sounds close to what I've heard as well. Tough times for everyone and until the confidence in the market/economy comes back its gonna stay that way.

Wow I guess that's better than losing your job totally but maybe not by much. A month and a half without income is tough to take anytime but right now it may well be more than some can take period.
