Every time that video comes up, I think about some over-trained Coasties who think everyone knows and abides by every rule of the water. It doesn't matter which boat has the right of way, avoid at all costs.
That's why I try to peer down side street while driving. Don't want to be the next victim on "World Worst Drivers"

Small boat has his head up his ass and isnt aware of his surroundings. Coast Guard Aux is on some ego trip and would rather prove how important he is than avoid a collision.
I think sometimes our egos get the best of us on the water and we go through an "I'm not moving, I was here first" kinda mindset. I know I catch myself doing it sometimes. But I try to keep remembering that its everybodys playground and theres no place for bullies, only common sense.

says out of McKinley marina (Milwuakee) the coast gaurd in that town ran into the front of my 38 scarab many years ago (I lost power as was not even running at the time) and took a chunk out of the bow
