Yeah a nice OL 41gtx Gellner 1200s or a 46 skater 1200 Gellners or turbines.
. Either of these two boats would have gone a lot faster. when those guys slowed to 40 kts or so the ride gets worst sometimes. I notice sometimes its better to pick it up to mid 70s and you get a better ride than at 55 or 60. we did that at the 04 cape race that was canceled I was in a new SUTPHEN 30 ,and we had two other SUTPHENS with us we drove 10miles on water to the race site and the ride got better the faster we went . wind was blowen bad and the waves were 5 to 6 or more, so it was bad enough to cancel the race
. I know a lot of racers were pissed.
