The 38ZR DONZI is listed as 38' 10" WITH the built in swim platform. So if it is 2 feet the boats length would be closer to the 37AT (36'10").
Looks, that depends, I like the look of a fountain but I also like the look of the ZR's and the AT for that matter. To each his own.
Why are fountains so heavy?
Back to the real world question, even if you compare the 42 to the 38zr which one is fastest in rough conditions?
I guess we would also have to define rough.

Gladhe8er put it out there back in July about the 388 Slingshot. I know how the 344 Cheetah handles but have never been in a Slingshot. Just wonder how it compares to the Fountain and Donzi as far as handling. As far as cabin's go I think that the Hustler cabin's are about as basic and "plain Jane" as they get.

keep in mind the two you are looking at, are (Were)production type boats. thier are a few better choices out their from custom builders...

The AT is one of the best riding hulls in their size class.. this boat is a true offshore boat, but you need to know how to run it. The AVH hull designed by Harry Scholl works. If someone had the coin, this boat should be raced... with a few changes. The best examples (major improvements) are the 08- 09 boats. In comparision to the 388, I prefer the 37 AT..compared to the ZR or ZRC I cant comment.

On the ZR, how much of a difference is the ITS set-up vs a B1 XR set-up, as far as speed and rough water handling?
Happy New Year.
