How long are most of the courses they run on?Do they do at least a 8-10 mile course?

Sould be fun to see on Lake Michigan!!

The race between Gieco and Bud Select in St Clair in 2007 was the most exciting I have ever seen. They were running down the 4 mile straight on the Canadian side at 170 side by side the whole race. Can't remember how many laps, at least 10. I'm looking forward to seeing more like that. :ernaehrung004:

But are there still two "unlimited" classes? Or will Bud, CRC, Cintron and CMS now be racing heads up with Geico, Aqua Mania, and JBS? I sure hope so because that would be some awesome racing.

The piston boats now have the "option" to choose the class and race a long course with the Unlimited boats (geico, warbird, aqua, jbs) or they can stay in the "piston extreme" and race each other on a short course. (Less laps , thanks RB)

The actual course will be the same but the boat will go a longer distance / more laps.

Not really,
Team Geicos Mystic is at Turbine Marine right now getting re-rigged with T 53 -703 (1850 HP).
This will be the engine choice for this team, and the others for the OSS racing in 2009.
Team Geico will use there T-55's to set speed records when team owner gives the go !!
Looking forward to an great season.

Good to hear. Best of luck to you guys, I know the Mystic has not been an easy project.

Thank you,
However it has been no big deal at all.
My guys are very good, and this one will be ready to race in a total of 8 weeks in the shop.
We will have it up and running for the big NEW Geico TV commercial that they will be filming on the 8th of Jan.
Happy Holidays
