"Spy pics" Scott Shogrens "new" facility

Just a few pics I want to share with everybody here. As we all know already, the Baja line of powerboats was aquired, and are currently being built by Fountain Powerboats at the Fountain factory.
Here in northern Illinois, a new facility is currently being built by Shogren Performance Marine, to accomadate the expansion of the Baja by Fountain line of boats, added to the existing Fountain line that Shogren and his team sold over the past several years.

The new facility will have a 55,000 sq. ft. showroom, that customers may view the full line of the new Baja by Fountain boats, while still showing the full line of the Fountain powerboats. They will have 4 bays for service, and Scott has just recieved from Mercury, the acceptance for the "Mercury Premier Status", which is the highest rating of service that any dealer can achieve from Mercury Marine.
The showroom and office area will be expanded to about 3000 sq. ft. which will be able to accomadate a full line of appearal and accessories for both Baja and Fountain boaters alike.

ALSO, and this is probably gonna be something that alot of us midwest boaters are gonna like to hear, is that Scott is having a 25,000 sq. ft. heated indoor storage area right in the new facility, and he's gonna be offering winter heated storage for unbelieveably low prices that no one will be able to beat.

Well, don't want to give all the details just yet, but I thought I'd share a little of it with everyone. Look for Scott Shogren to be making a formal press release about his new facility sometime over the next few weeks. I'm hoping to see alot of you people at his "new open house" party, that's coming up real soon, and I really believe that we'll be able to talk him into having a boat/beach party come summertime.

Congrats to Shogren Performance Marine on all the accomplishments that they have acchieved over the past years with Fountain Powerboats, and let's all wish them as well with the new Baja by Fountain line that they have added.
Let's all say............. Scott !!! it's PARTY TIME !!!

Congrats on the new showroom......... Slow times/ recessions are when you should always make your move (it will cost you less and you will be far ahead of your competitors when everything turns around). You want to buy/build when no one else it providing you have the capital to withstand/survive the slow times.

Is the new showroom in the same general area as the old site?

2005 Baja 275
WOW that's great. To bad he's not closer to Indiana that's a long road trip to just walk around and dream big.

Best of luck to them and Fountain. I did get a Baja by Fountain jacket for Christmas and I think it might have came from Shogrens.

There's enough room to haul in a couple truckloads of sand and palm trees and throw one helluva winter beach party! Owners could crash in their own boats for the night!
