realistically, it would likely leave a lot to be desired in both of the targeted audiences.

Hmmm. Not sure.... I wouldn't have a need for it because I have no need for a center console.
It does follow the same theory as the all in one printer. A computer printer that is also a fax and scanner. All in one printers are probably in most homes and small businesses, however seldom found in large offices with larger specific needs. Question to answer is... how far disconnected or how closely related are both buyers? Sounds like a fun research project!

I hope you get the info your looking for.

If you are doing market reasearch I'd suggest also asking "why" Why would you or why wouldn't you buy

I like the idea. Fit and finish on the removable deck would be the key for me. Would I buy? Depends on who "they" are.

It is a cool idea. I doubt if I would buy it, but is still a great idea.

I've always disliked anything with an open bow.

Always thought it would be cool if there was a tight fitting, removable, hard bow cover, for open bow and mid cabin boats.
Would give you the best of both worlds.... sleek lines and deck of a closed bow, yet potential to seat an extra 2-4 people.

If manufacturers made a hard bow cover, open bows and mid-cabins would be more appealing to me.
I guess that would apply to cc's as well.
