used neither. i did see on news while back about this service, back when gas hit like $3 gal. But i do not remember the company, just that u could lock in the price. they issued the card to you, but i think u had to use one of their facilities.

The members on this board use alot of fuel, would be cool to leverage that with a reputable company like this.

I have a used triple axle tanker I bought at an auction. It was used to haul hydraulic oil. The tanker is steel, but the inside is clean, rust free, very shiny. I guess the oil preserved it. I am tempted to fill it up for the summer. I think it holds 7500 gallons. It was for a local bulker that bought a new trailer.

If I fill it, i will have to fence it in and put a couple of guard dogs protecting it. Also have to worry about it going bad. I guess worse case is that I could sell it at the end of the summer if I dont use it all.

That is a lot of frigging fuel. If you get it directly from the plants though, it is still possibly to buy leaded premium and your engines will love that stuff. Actually if you bought that much, you can order your own blend I think.

I would be real worried about the fuel getting old. I had 6 week old ethanol fuel in the tank and the computer showed the knock sensor hitting......rigged a 6 gallon tank of fresh fuel and the problem went away. Bad fuel could cause you to loose an engine (or 2)

How many of these do you need to dump into 7500 gallons?

I would think you could do a group buy from this site of some sort just like those companies do.

An OSO gas card.

I pre-bought gasoline yesterday... 130 gallons at $1.54 of course I added four bottles of Sta-bil. I'll be boating in another six weeks or so.

Try calling Southwest Airlines...they do it all the time with jet fuel.
