Default Bonita Springs, FL

My wife and I are flying down to Bonita springs Sunday, trying to get away from this freakin weather.

Any good places by the water to chill and have a few beers? Just looking to lay back for a while.

Go to Docs. It's right next to the public beach.

That was exactly my suggestion, Doc's was my favorite place when I lived down there.

Go 15 minutes north to Ft Myers Beach, lots of bars there, good beach vibe.

Can you drive past a cottage if you go? I think my flake-ball tenant moved, but haven't driven down to check as it is 3 hours away.

Let me know, it would save me 6 hours of windshield time.

Doc's is a come as you are place with normal bar food. It is two stories with a water view and picnic tables on the beach. Not all the hustle and hassle that there is on FMB.

For a nice beach front lunch or dinner go to The Turtle Club. Just a few miles south.

Or my cell (765) 341-1246

Thanks Everybody.

To bad my motors are in the garage, would be cool to take the boat.

PM Bobthebuilder, he is at Marco, if anything is going on with the FtMyer club he will let you know and sometimes a small donation to his favorite charity will get you a ride on a pretty nice boat. Have fun, wish I was there

Never did get to any of those places, or bring my boat over, and we(my father in-law) sold the Bonita House We do still have the Beach Club membership though, so one of these days I'll get back over with the boat.

Doc's is OK for Lunch, its right at the bend where Bonita Beach road turns North at the beach towards Fort Myers.
