Default Has anyone used usold.com to sell a boat?

Got a call from them wanting to sell me advertising. They have what seems to be very reasonable rates and a lot of resources. They are out of Myrtle Beach and claim to advertise on thousands of websites in 5 different languages. Including boattrader and ebay. Just wondering if anyone has used them or bought a boat they had listed and how it went? They have a lot of cats and v hulls listed so I thought somebody must have dealt with them.

Thanks,
Nick

No, but got the email about them. My boss advertised his boat with them. Don't know if there is any truth to their ad. Would be interested in some more responses as we have two boats we would like to sell.

So did your bosses boat sell yet? I think I'm going to do it.

Has anyone used American Boat Listing??
http://www.ablboats.com/

They have contacted me a couple times. I haven’t had any luck with boat trader and have considered using them.

Just signed up with usold. I figure what the heck, a broker wants 7-8% and they only list on a few sites and locally. For me this was about .5% of asking price. And if it don't work, oh well you get it back anyway.

Do a search on ABL. I believe the general feeling was to run run run. some people recounted actual dealings with them.

Don't waste your time or money. Listed a boat with them years ago. Never saw an ad anywhere or received any calls about it.

No the bosses boat still has not sold. Will talk to him today to see if he has had any inquiries

Nope. Huge waste of money. Never got one call or E-mail in three months. I know things are tough, but not one. I've had ten guys stop just by the sign out in my yard. Now they won't answer their phones for me to get my "refund". Had to try something, but definitely a waste of money!
