New Throttlebody for 500 and 525
This is the new throttlebody we made and tested for the 500 and 525 engine. The engine in the video is a 500 Mercury with 250 hours. We put a set of Dart 310 heads right out of the box No Porting and a Crane 741 cam. We made 575 HP with the stock throttlebody. We then installed the new throttlebody and made 605 HP. The new throttlebody flows about 2000cfm. We made a iac adapter to mount on the front block off plate but the adapter will bolt right on the back of a 525 manifold. It also gained 30 ft #'s of torque thru out the rpm range. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT8FmzMo2Uw

The throttle body really looks strange I guess that is called "Thinking Out Of The Box".
Nice job and it's nice to see folks developing products that really work.
Good luck
