What a POS I had a 96 Stingray 698zp (23') that had a 454 and went 70-72 all day stock and thats all you wanted to do in that hull, and I paid 20k for it in 98 sold it for 20k in 99.

They are not bad little boats for just cruisin'. Actually 70mph with a stock 454 is not bad numbers. But certainly agree, that boat is not made for going over that speed. darrell. |
