Pricing on Mercury engines....

Not to throw a wrench into this. But most new boats with new mercury 1075's are outdated. Merc is now making and highly suggesting to change pulley system, water pumps, and fuel regulator. Buy a new boat and have to yank the egines to come up to date sounds crazy. Maybe I'm missing something... I'm Sure it's the same for other engines and boats that haven't sold.
This is exactly what my point was also. Improvements are made during the production run, and if I'm paying full retail, I want the latest improvements to go with it.
