Default TRS Drives

Do people still buy the complete 1989 TRS drives with inter and out transom assembly. I just don't know if they'll sell so I can replace with Konrads ????

I would assume you would be able to sell them - people always need replacement stuff....

Might not sell them both in one swoop on the first day, but I would imagine a pretty decent market for them.

What my fear is I take them out sell one or not then not have the money for the other drives, then I'm short one or got to put it all back together for next summer.

They will sell but not for a ton like most want for them, I see people selliung pairs of drives for 6000-8000.00 and they will not sell for that, they are all over in price, I paid 1700.00 shipped for a pair last summer, that was a smoking deal but they are out there, The inners and outers are minimal when selling, even when they are perfect, I bet you could get 3000-4000 for perfect condition parts, but you may sit on them a while..

Decide how much you want for them and let me know. We are looking for spares and if the price is right, we'll buy them both. I'm local for work too, can pick up or even help remove. Let me know.

Would any of the Konrad dealers possibly take them on trade?

What power are you running in front of them in a 40' boat? and what failures have you had with them?
You have a nice looking setup.
Just curious

Right now I'm running 509's I baby it out of the hole and don't run full open for a long time. I have alwas kept synthetic out drive oil in them. I think that helps . I am going to change the motors to 540's and don't want to blowup the drives. C_deezy give me a price ? I'm not going to take them off till after the Cumberlands Poker Run after that that's about the end of my season
