Was out today in about 30 knot winds from the NW...

My guess is 4-5 footers... Like Parnell says... Speed is your friend, roughest ride in the dinghy yet but still managed trip digits, was really busy trying to make out kayaks through the whitecaps.

Started playing with trim tabs and so forth to adjust attitude with cross winds.

I would think that if your aim was real good you could put them right thru the tunnel! :eek:

I was out this afternoon on the St. Lawrence and the cross wind was a b!tch here as well, no kayakers here though, must be a green state (VT.) thing.

Quite the little project you have going, good to see it's working out for you. It is interesting to follow, to say the least.
