man, this really turned into a bash the wife thread.....If my wife wanted a different kind of boat, we would have to discuss why. If she's willing to appease me topless boating for her and her friends, then she may just win out!!!
Sounds like some of you guys would rather boat alone then hang out with your wives, mines a hottie and I'd rather have her beside me than some hairy DUDE!!!

BTW: I've had cruisers and go-fasts, both can be plenty of fun if used for what they were built for. (3-5 night trips overnighting on the hook or at different marinas every night was a blast)

Boats are like golf clubs, you need at least 10 to play the game right.

Go easy on Jeff, some would say the same about EGG BEATERS on the water

Get a Black Thunder. 6'6" headroom in the cabin, queen size bed up front, 7' long couches down the sides. Enclosed head, large fridge, microwave, air conditioning. All the comforts of a cruiser but in a very efficient hull. Step hulled versions with 525's go about 74 mph. It's almost as fast as a 42 Fountain but the size difference is mind blowing. The Fountain is half the size cubic foot wise.
