That is extremely reasonable! If the work is quality, go with it.

I would suggest not using wood at all in your boat. pvc plactic, king star light or king star board is the only way to go. using plywood is like throwing your money away. Even if you glass the wood it may keep it strong but the wood can not breath. in return this means rotten mildew smelly nasty wood. Every boat that i have seen in wood even glassed has some type of rotting mildew cracking ect. also its a real pain to staple into the staples always break or bend with pvc its always looks the same its easy to staple into you can heat and bend it to your boat . i hope this helps out on your build

engine hatch-$1000 back seat back-$1000 each bolster-$1200 back seat bottom-$350 gunnel side panels-$300 each All wood is being replaced with PVC. Is my 10 year old Baja worth this?? |
