I have an 89 formula 242 with a built up 502 with multi port injection. I'm not sure what the HP rating is, but the engine builder said it puts out close to 490HP. With the current prop I see around 67 with a 22 hydromotive. I sheard off my prop shaft a few years ago and lost a labbed 24 bravo1 that would push the boat closer the 69 MPH. The trick with a boat this old is to find one in good condition, but it's well within your price range.

Hey Sick Stinger - I see you're from Swansea. My wife grew up there. You launch your boat at the Grove?
