I looked at an old 914 several years ago that had a 450hp Lengifelter stroker small block in it. It was totally bad ass and done up very well with no expense spared. What a sleeper, i will have to find the pics and spec sheet. The guy that owned it also had 3 original 427 Shelby Cobras and owns the Miles/Gurney GT-40. He said the 914 would whop any of them.

Ask Wizard. Sam You sure about that. I ran a 70's 911S with a blown SB chevy. The car had an all steel 930 body conversion, with 345 steam rollers in the rear. Looked like a stock 930 with BIG tires. It weighed in at 2400lbs with me in it, and a 1/2 tank of fuel. That gave a power to weight of 4lb/ hp. That's pretty insane. A 997tt has a power to weight of around 7lb/ hp. That's a big difference. And yes, after destroying a number of built TT's, a stock 997TT would not stand a chance against an early 911 with an LS7. There is about a 1000 lb difference between the old cars and new TT's. Sam Sorry but I'm not sure if you understand how power to weight works. The car with the better power to weight will out accelerate the other. Simple physics. Sorry but the TT would have it's ass kicked by 70's 911 with an LS7 in it. Hell a stock ZO6 will pull a 997TT, and it weighs about 800LBS more than a 70's 911.
