Project looks awesome, and that is one great looking boat.

Have you tried contacting Drambuie to see if they'll cover any costs as a "poker run sponsor" or something? If you're running their name all over the place, the least they could do is pop for the vinyl for all the publicity? Just a thought. I'm sure you can swing the vinyl costs (obviously), but it's just the principle to me, haha.

You will love the aerators. I think mercury sells them also.

Dont worry about how the boat will run, they do not effect the performance when it is on plane.

Only the bottom half of a propeller produces any thrust, thats why you want the top half out of the water.

It really helps get the boat on plane.

Thats coming from someone who had to get a 40 skater on plane with just 750hp/ single 4 barrel carb.

I took the aerators off my MTI. They did nothing except spool up the engines too much planning off. Maybe with low power and big props they might help planning off. Try the boat without them first.

I would be surprised to see those numbers Jim.

What are the dimension of those trannies would I need new drive shaft and are they heavier than or standard BAM/Huber stuff.

Also how many hp to turn them?

Thanks Jim
