Donzi 35 ZR question
There seem to be a fair amount of new or barely used Donzi 35 ZR's on the market with 496's. What kind of speeds can you expect with these and what would be the most reliable outdrive to have with it? Do you think the 496's would make resale even more difficult? I know, I shouldn't even be thinking about resale and I should expect to own the boat until I die
I have never even riden in one but the looks alone are giving me the itch to buy.

the 496's and XR's make a nice combination - used to run with a guy who had a 35ZR w/ 496's - from what I recall the boat did an honest 80 mph. Nice riding boat - very impressed with it. If I were to go back to a v-hull, the 35ZR would be at the top of my list.

Thanks, will keep the XR drives in mind. Seems like most have Bravo ones. 80 mph is pretty impressive with those engines. I suppose maintenance woud be easier than blue Mercs right?
