Default Thoughts on a 1991 Baja 270

Just wondering if any one has one of these boats and if so how they like them, I'm looking to buy my first "power boat" and was also wondering what people thought of this one and a respectable price for it. thanks

A buddy of mine has that exact same boat. I've spent a lot of time in it. Very nice handling boat, 24 degree V, molded cockpit liner, built very well and solid feeling. But as with all older boats, check for transom/stringer rot.

Yup, get a survey. Looks clean in the pics, but that can be deceiving.

A friend of mine has a very similar 270 for sale with more HP that you might want to check out. I know he wants it sold.

For a survey I've used Tom Ferguson he is in Manchester NH 603-669-0734 or [email protected] he has tons of experience and all the certifications.

Thanks but i talked to the owner of this one and was only looking to get around 12-13K for it, there have been no HP increases unfortunately but the price is a bit more comforting
