Default Marine Engines Over 2000 H.P.?

I am wondering if anyone has experience with, or knows of any WELL-KNOWN marine performance builders who have gotten 2000+ H.P. from an automotive based engine, be it turbocharged or supercharged?

I remember a few months ago, someone had them in a Skater trying to go 200+ MPH, but I haven't heard about that boat lately...

I'd love to hear your experience/knowledge on this topic...

Dave Scott's/Bud Select's alcohol engines are the only ones I can think of right off hand that are close to that HP. I think they might be Sterlings.

I guess it depends on how radical you want 2000hp to be, if I wanted it to live and put lot's of hours on them , I would talk to Keith Eckhert about the 16cly alum engine that he brought to the Miami show . It should make 200hp with a few mod's and still be realiable .
