Default funny AD... watch out skaters!!!!!!!!!!

2007 Cobalt 343 sport boat w/mercruiser 525HP "BLUE" racing engines. Only 165hrs. This boat tops out at 74knots @ 5000rpm WOT, wide open throttle. These engines red line @ 5300rpm. Engines have been properely broke in and run. Engines run perfect. Cobalt in boats is similar to a Mercedes Benz as cars. Go to google and you'll see about 5 cobalt 343's for sale all over $130,000-$150,000. This is the only Cobalt with the mercury racing engines. This is the fastest boat in it's class. Faster than cigarette and skaters in it's class. All the other cobalts come with the standard black mercruisers. All service has been maintained. Boat comes with A/C, head, water pump, shorepower.

Dunno, here's a local one with those blue engines.

nice but i think he meant skaters on roller skates or he thinks 70mph is fast, no offence to anyone about 70mph been there trust me. sometimes wish i still was, was way more dependable

My buddy Steve has one with 525's and it runs good. I know he wants to sell it if anyone is interested. Ocean Performance took one in on trade that had 600sci's and I think Hartman said they were putting 700's in one at Lake Cumberland! Crazy!!

They built one with 575SCis a few years ago, and it embarrassed a few folks. Not a Skater to my knowledge though!

The owner of Cobalt has been a friend of mine since I was little. He boats here on Grand Lake with us. They had the 575 boat you mentioned on the lake a few years back, and yes, they had fun with the Baja, Formula, & Donzi dealers here. They are REALLY well built, and have luxury car fit & finish.

They will NOT however, run faster than ANY of the "true" offshore brands......and obviously NO cats.

The Cobalt in my picture has bolster but also a sit down with two positions for different heights. What's wrong with that? This boat is a luxo performance boat with a hefty weight not a contender to an epoxy or carbon fiber hull or a light Fountain , hehe. We had this boat to 74 mph on the GPS with 4 people onboard. The owner had it up to 79 once by himself with low fuel. When the 343 came out with 525's and XR drives the MSRP was around 390K. A low hr boat like this around $150-170 is a good deal IMHO .
